Andree Santini teaches yoga to inspire students toward heart opening and balanced well-being. She promotes the power of inspiration, alignment, balance, and positive imagination to guide students to move with awareness, steadiness, and ease. Moving with intention and from their center, students grow towards creating and living their highest possibilities.
She was introduced to yoga by Michael Lear in 2001. After the first class she felt a deep sense of calm and peace, and knew yoga would be an important part of her life. She has since continued to learn from many teachers and to benefit from the openings yoga brings.
Andree graduated from Max Strom’s Way of LIfe™ Teacher Training in 2010. She also completed the Off the Mat, Into the World™ Yoga, Purpose, and Action Leadership Training. Her continuing study has included workshops with teachers including Max Strom, Jamie Elmer, Seane Corn, Anodea Judith, Bruce Bowditch, Donna Farhi, Hala Khouri, Suzanne Sterling, Sean Johnson, Mary Bono, Naime Jezzeny, Ellen Pfeffer, and Sri Dharma Mittra. She also studies with many local teachers, including Alicia Rambo Wozniak and Deborah Ketter. She is grateful for all her teachers.
With a BS in Chemistry, Mathematics, and Pre-med from Boston College, and interests ranging from whole foods and natural health to positive imagination, music, art, and writing, Andree recently ended a 20 year career in corporate new product development. She has been teaching yoga since 2009.
