Cyndie Decowski’s yoga journey began in 2004 when she was a stay-at-home mother of 2 young kids. As much as she loved her role as mother, she was looking for something of her own. Cyndie found what she was looking for when she took her first yoga class. Cyndie quickly recognized the benefits of yoga in body, mind and spirit. She has enjoyed taking the teachings of her yoga off my mat and applying it to everyday life as part of continual self-discovery.
Cyndie is currently working on her 200 hour yoga teacher training under the direction of Easton Yoga Owner, Alicia Rambo Wozniak. Eventually Cyndie hopes to combine her love of yoga and her love of working with children and teach yoga to younger students. Currently Cyndie is using yoga as a coaching tool for her daughter’s lacrosse team.
Cyndie is grateful for her teachers, Cindy Noren (Hatha), Diana Z. (Hatha), Alicia Rambo Wozniak (Creative Flow), Iris Bunk (Kundalini), Sean Johnson (Bhakti), Jamie Elmer (Applied Anatomy) and Max Strom (Breath) for giving her a broader understanding and appreciation of yoga.
Cyndie is very thankful for her wonderful husband, for not only being a willing student, but for being supportive and for all of the sacrifices he made in order for her to become a yoga teacher. She is also appreciative of all that Alicia Rambo Wozniak has done to make possible for her to achieve this goal.
~Namaste~
