Greg Geiger took his first yoga class in 2005 looking for an alternate workout to the standard weights and treadmills of the gym but found so much more. Yoga offered a practice that provided continuous new challenges and growth opportunities for both the mind and body. Within the yoga community he has found a sense of common purpose, energy and comradely he enjoyed in his days as a high school and collegiate athlete.
Greg enjoys exploring what various yoga styles and traditions have to teach us and has had the privilege to study with Max Strom (Hatha), Iris Bunk (Kundalini), Sean Johnson (Bhakti), Jamie Elmer (Anatomy of Yoga) and Michael Lear (Ashtanga). However his preference is creative Vinyasa Flow taught by his primary guide on the path of Yoga, Alicia Rambo Wozniak at Easton Yoga. This style is a breath centered style in which the flow of movements in and out of asana generates heat to purify and refresh the body and mind.
When not working as his desk job as a Software Engineer or on his yoga mat Greg can be found on another type of mat working as a PIAA Wrestling Official.
