Krista Delgado first came to yoga through the recommendation of a therapist when she was 15 years old. She began practicing with Effie Wood at Yoga in Motion studio in San Antonio, Texas. Her first class was a very powerful experience. She was both enamored and overwhelmed by the peace, calm, and joy she was able to find in her body and mind. Over the past 9 years, she practiced with many different teachers, all of whom were influenced by numerous styles of yoga. However, vinyasa flow style yoga was the preference of her first teacher, interwoven through her experiences with many wonderful teachers, and is also the main style at Easton Yoga.

She is currently working on her 200-hour teacher training at Easton Yoga with Alicia Rambo Wozniak whose main emphasis is creative vinyasa flow. During her teacher training, she has been blessed to study with visiting teachers such as Iris Bunk (kundalini), Sean Johnson (bhakti), Jamie Elmer (anatomy of yoga), and esteemed master teacher Max Strom (breathwork). She is also currently working on her Master's of Mental Health Counseling at Messiah College. Her intention in both yoga and counseling is the healing of body, mind and spirit. She hopes to  interweave the two practices in her future professional work.

Toward this goal of interweaving yoga and counseling, she was very fortunate to be able to attend the University of Massachusetts Medical School's Center for Mindfulness in Medicine, Health Care, and Society's 2011 post-conference institute on teaching mindful yoga. At this workshop she learned about yoga techniques to increase mindfulness, mindfulness-based breath work, and teaching mindfulness-based stress reduction yoga sequences, and the special relationship between yoga, mindfulness, and meditation.

Krista would like to help people find the healing and grace that is possible through a personal yoga practice. While the main emphasis of vinyasa flow is breath-centered movement, creative vinyasa flow uses uni Her focus in yoga practice is on cultivating awareness and strength in the body, in order to heal the mind and more gracefully take the next step on the spiritual journey of life. She emphasizes intention to find direction and new ways of being, acceptance to foster self-understanding and empathy for others, mindfulness to develop balance and calm, and authenticity to enhance the integration and development of body, mind and spirit.
