Leigh Ann Stratakos has been studying yoga since 1999 and teaching since 2001. Looking back her journey has been full of exploration, learning, discovery and awakening. Her first class was a powerful experience that left her wanting more. She continued her studies for two years with Tony Rivers, in the Iyengar tradition. From Iyengar, she went to Kripalu and participated in their Spiritual Lifestyle Program, which opened her eyes and mind to the deeper levels of yoga. Although she learned a lot, she had now seen two completely different styles of yoga, which left her wondering what else this ancient practice had to offer. After leaving Kripalu, Leigh Ann spent a month thinking, writing and hiking a portion of the Appalachian Trail which eventually led her to her home in Delaware Water Gap, Pa. Soon after settling in, she knew she wanted to share this transformational practice with others so she transformed her living room into 3 Moons Yoga Studio and began offering classes.

In 2003, she completed the Yoga Synthesis™ Teacher Training with Raji Thron. Yoga Synthesis™ was a perfect match and introduced her to more branches of yoga including Ashtanga Vinyasa, Kundalini Yoga, Viniyoga, and Classical Yoga. It gave her the permission and know-how she needed to take the strengths from all the yogic traditions and merge them into one awesome vinyasa practice.

The following year she completed Level 1 & 2 of the Radiant Child Yoga Program with Shakta Kaur Khalsa. And In January 2005, she completed her first 10 day Vipassana meditation course. Vipassana brought to life all the philosophical things she had read in books. It turned knowledge into wisdom and allowed her to experience how the mind works. Other amazing teachers who have shaped her practice include David Williams, Dharma Mittra, Mira Mehta, Sean Johnson, Krishna Das, Prem, Max Strom, and the fun loving AcroYogis!

Leigh Ann’s experience and eclectic background set a strong foundation for fluid, dynamic, intuitive and challenging classes. Today, Leigh Ann continues to own and operate 3 Moons Yoga, teach at Easton Yoga and has recently begun co-creating Easton Yoga's very own Yoga Teacher Training Program. Looking forward, Leigh Ann is excited for the next 10 years as she continues to learn, explore and share with those who are willing to listen. She believes yoga is a life long journey traveled best with consistency, perseverance, non-judgment, fearlessness, and honesty with oneself.
