Deep Tissue: Releases the chronic patterns of tension and "knots" in the body through slow strokes and deep finger pressure on the contracted areas, either following or going across the grain of muscles, tendons and fascia. It is called deep tissue, because it also focuses on the deeper layers of muscle tissue. Deep Tissue therapists look for shortened muscles and/or distorted postural patterns. With slow deep strokes, the therapist works to lengthen the muscle fibers, to restore balance, and to reestablish structural and functional integrity to the greatest degree possible.

Swedish: Effective for most ailments, because massaging the skin, the body's largest organ, sets up a chain reaction that produces a positive effect on all layers and systems of the body. Swedish massage includes long, relaxing strokes, kneading, friction, tapping, and shaking motions. It affects the nerves, muscles, glands, and circulation, while promoting health and well-being. Your body will feel rested and your mind at ease.

Thai Massage
Also known as a form of "yoga therapy" Thai Massage is an ancient Eastern healing art.  It integrates deep yogic stretching, massage, acupressure and breath to re-balance and harmonize the energetic system of the body. Thai massage is practiced with the client fully clothed and on the floor.  This energetic system comprises the Sen channels, these channels correlate with the "prana nadi's" of the chakra system and are also similar to the meridians of acupuncture theory.  Working in a meditative way the practitioner utilizes massage, acupressure and deep stretches to clear blockages along the Sen channels to aid in the release of deep muscular tension and structural restrictions for the client.
