Sarah Parker-Givens RYT completed Max Strom's Way of Life Teacher Training (200 RYT) in 2010 and has been teaching since then. Sarah's focus is on the healing of the body, mind and spirit through breath centered movement, with breath being the most important aspect. Sarah hopes each of her students will find the healing that is possible through consistent yoga practice. She welcomes all students, believes in teaching with kindness and respects where each body is at in its present moment.
Sarah first came to Easton Yoga as a student and with the help of her first teacher, Alicia Rambo Wozniak, found healing from chronic lower back pain. While her yoga practice has transformed her physically, it is yoga's ability to calm the mind and expand the heart center that she fell in love with. Her goal is to help spread the healing power of Yoga!
Sarah is currently desk manager at Easton Yoga, her home away from home. As well as teaching beginner classes at Easton Yoga, she enjoys teaching a group of active older adults in the area.
In addition to Hatha Yoga, Sarah has a great love for Kundalini Yoga for its balance of invigorating kriyas and calming meditation. In her spare time she enjoys reading, cooking, spending time in nature and of course practicing yoga!
