Scott Slingerland: I am fundamentally energized, enthusiastic and inspired to do, to serve and to be in the world. The sun is shining brilliantly. My legs feel amazing – they glide beneath me, despite my sore feet. But really, something has triggered over the course of three days walking, connecting my world with points of joy, confrontation, ignorance, grace. Peace with wildness in the woods, and while streamlining along road edges.
My goal is neither here nor there, but to be aware and share everywhere. To be a wind like the sun that radiates and flows, throughout and throughin, warming and uplifting… a thermal spiritual updraft of blessings.
I must find humble humility within my hoarding and judgmental self. This action/evolution will give me instant freedom like stepping into a river of trust and love with all creation. I am ready for the plunge of universal love!
I began studying yoga in 2001 at Easton Yoga. In June 2010, I received my 200 hour RYT training at Kula Heart Yoga with Silver, Florence and Deb. I am a big fan of the yoking of yogas, appreciating the many perspectives of Hatha, Ashtanga, Kundalini yoga practices and meditation in daily living, through sleep, food, exercise and attitude.
Thank you, my many teachers who have shown me kindness, patience and clarity through their best intentions!
