Beginner's Classes are designed to incorporate explanation of basic yoga principles, terminology, and alignment. Students are given more time to explore the postures at a basic level to cultivate a deeper awareness and connection with their mind, breath and body. These classes incorporate a short centering (meditation) to start class, small warm-up, deeper movement, an introduction to inversions, and then final relaxation. Beginner’s classes also will introduce Sun Salutations which are the base of the warm up’s to move into an Intermediate level class.

Intermediate Classes are for students with an understanding of Sun Salutations and basic yoga postures and names. These classes use more movement and hold postures longer in order to provide a deeper understanding of the asana. Our teachers will lead your practice through more dynamic alignment principles as well as using breath to cultivate awareness within the while body. Be prepared to sweat!

All Levels Welcome are classes that will combine fun and dynamic movement that can be modified or added to depending on your experience level and abilities. As a beginner’s student you may find this a place to cultivate a more dynamic practice, and as an intermediate student you may find deeper body awareness by stepping back for your regular routine.
