Prenatal Yoga & Childbirth Education Classes

Prenatal Yoga

Inside you is an innate wisdom that intuitively understands about the very natural process of birth. We help you reconnect with this wisdom, guiding you through a class specifically designed for the journey of pregnancy. Linking yoga postures with the breath will lead you to new discoveries, bringing awareness to the mind, body and spirit, and also the spirit of your baby.

The program, conducted by Alicia Rambo-Wozniak in a calm, peaceful environment will help strengthen the uterus and pelvic muscles, improve circulation, aid in digestion, exercise the spine and increase overall comfort. Yoga can also alleviate many of the discomforts of pregnancy such as nausea, constipation, varicose veins, swelling, back pain and sciatica. A safe, open community allows you to freely discuss any issues, from discomforts and concerns, to the wonderful new changes your body and baby are experiencing.

Our Teacher: Alicia Rambo-Wozniak has been a student at Easton Yoga from conception, and has always found a balance between a regular Astanga practice and softer forms of yogasana. Alicia has taken Pre & Postnatal Teaching courses with Monica Voss (Yoga Conference, Toronto Canada) & participated in the Pre-Natal Yoga Forum at Yoga Vermont, August 2004, with Sue Adams, Laura Mann and Kathy McNames. Alicia is currently studying with Karen Prior founder and creator of Mamaste Pre/Postnal Yoga ®. She completed a Restorative Yoga Training with Ellen Pfeffer in 2005. With almost 100 hours of prenatal yoga training Alicia feels blessed to share her knowledge of yoga and pregnancy with mothers-to-be in the Lehigh Valley and Phillipsburg vicinity.
